The move into a retirement community can create a strong "To Do" list! We are here to help you make this move into your new home at University Village as stress free as possible. Our personal touch and Move In Coordinators are ready to assist you. Whatever your décor or favorite motif you can select new carpet, pick out window blinds, and choose the wallpaper for your kitchen and bathroom. Our Personalization Coordinator will even help measure furniture so you can visualize just where the important furnishings will be placed.
Not sure where to start in your moving to assisted living checklist? Not to worry, University Village will provide a handy list of “Things to Do Before and on Move-in Day” to help make moving to our retirement community easy. It covers important things to remember such as which companies to notify: post office, newspaper, telephone, and homeowner’s insurance. If you need to change your driver’s license address, a form is provided that you can mail to Tallahassee.
University Village can recommend several Tampa moving companies that know our community well and have provided outstanding service to our other residents. Our Move-in Coordinators will be with you on move-in day to get you acclimated and lend a helping hand.
Move-in day lunch will be provided and delivered for friends or family that might be assisting with unpacking. Room service will deliver your dinner choice.
