We are honored to offer our residents chef-prepared meals by our award winning Chef Fred Lucardie CEC AAC. 

Chef Fred and his dedicated staff prepare a Chef Special each day. With thousands of entrée recipes in his repertoire, our residents are delighted with the variety of presentations and seasonings for beef, pork, chicken, fish, and vegetables.

As a certified dietary manager, Chef Fred Lucardie  is keenly aware of the needs of the healthy living senior. He is leading the Masterpiece Living initiative by reformulating his retirement living meals and preparation methods to meet the needs of health conscious seniors.

Our elite cuisine is also enjoyed at anniversary, birthday, and wedding celebrations as well as club and special event gatherings. Parties of 8 to as many as 150 are coordinated by Cindy Harris, University Village’s Catering Manager.
